Dogs and Humans to Fight Back Against Cancer at Bark For Life Event on May 5, 2018 at Dover City Park, Dover, TN
WHAT:
Individuals and their canine friends will come together for fun, games, dress-up contests, food, and a walk/run to honor the lifelong contributions of canine caregivers to cancer patients and survivors. Participants will raise funds to help the American Cancer Society make progress in the fight against cancer and remove barriers for people facing the disease today. It’s all part of the American Cancer Society Relay For Life movement.WHEN: May 5, 2018
Live entertainment! Dogs are also encouraged to show off their talents in our No Cat Walk Pageant. Awards will be given for Best Costume, Best Trick, Best Tail Wag and Best in Show, in addition to awards for the top fundraising canines and race winners!WHERE: Dover City Park, Dover, TN (Lick Creek Recreation Area)
WHO:
Everyone is welcome to attend. Admission is a $15 donation per dog/human team. All dogs must have current proof of vaccinations. Admission includes all activities and entertainment. Every dog bringing in $100 of donations for the American Cancer Society will receive a Bark For Life T-shirt for their human.
